Dealing with Puddles

This morning, we woke up to the sight of Buddy the Elf having a meltdown...over the meltdown of his good friend, Frosty.

Yes, Buddy was prostrate with grief...the wailing, the sobbing, the gnashing of teeth...it was terrible. I was surprised he hadn't woken the kids, what with the haunting sounds of elf grief filling the house.

It wasn't until I reminded Buddy of Frosty's own words, "I'll be back again some day!", that he managed to snap out of his depression. Geesh.

Who knew that Elf Grief Counseling was part of my job? Like I don't have enough to do this time of year...and now I'm having to wipe up puddles of Frosty, as well as puddles of Elf tears.

Peace.
